Thank you for your interest in Tom Beck's drum and percussion school. The school is aimed at anyone who values quality, expertise, and top-notch facilities at a fair price.
Since 1993, Tom Beck has run the eponymous drum and percussion school in Thun and Bern . Two additional locations have been added in Interlaken and Biel . Tom Beck welcomes beginners as well as professionally ambitious musicians. Students receive a solid instrumental education, enabling them to later master a wide range of musical styles.
In addition to qualified and dedicated teachers, state-of-the-art instruments, a central location, and top-notch equipment in the teaching studios make our drum school unique! Our school guarantees high-quality instruction and is known for the high caliber of its students.
Instruction
Enthusiastic and competent.
Great emphasis is placed on individual student support. Tom Beck has developed his own teaching concept through years of experience, which has proven highly effective in the classroom. The teaching methods are very practical, effective, and always up-to-date, as our teachers work with national and international bands and orchestras.
The use of special music CDs (play-alongs) promotes the playing feel and musicality.
Early musical education is also a central focus at Tom Beck's school. Psychomotor skills and abilities can be developed and fostered at the earliest stages of development and are beneficial in other areas of life as well. Only qualified professionals are employed in this area.
Our school year comprises 36 individual lessons of 30 minutes each. The school year begins on August 1st and ends on July 31st. It is divided into a spring semester (February 1st to July 31st) and an autumn semester (August 1st to January 31st).
